Week 3: IT education in China

My group members choose IT educational policies in China as our topic, and my sub-task is to talk about roles of languae and language learning.
With IT, students can be provided more individualized opportunities for learning language; and the learning process will be full of fun rather than be monotonous.
For teachers, IT could be an effective tool for searching information, preparing lessons, presenting lectures and assessing students. With the help of IT, teachers could be a better facilitator of language and language learning, and they are likely to make their language classroom more dynamic and active.
IT could also enhance communication between students and teachers. Besides, IT education can promote communication between students and their peers. They can learn from each other in collaborative atmosphere. In addition, IT could provide connection of language learning at school and out of school.

I like the idea that learning can be fun. The study load of students today is huge, like the mountain-like backpack we can always see carried by the little boys and girls.
If learning is fun, their footsteps would be light and joyful, their face would be lit with smile, and their world would be more colourful.
I wish that our children would enjoy their fun learning with our efforts.

One of the most salient advantages in CALL nowadays is that it provides each and every student with equal individualized opportunity to learn sth. in a more active and dynamic way. Meanwhile, free communications become accessible among peer students and tetween teachers and students as well. What a marvelous creation of those modern means of education!
